peronally i think the sanwa/air 157/257/357 to be the premier servo out there. the ko's are also top notch.
i, however, have a few futabas. the 9450 and the 9550. not the speediest, but nice just the same. my next servo will be a hitec 5925. best bang for the buck from what i understand. what...like 100/.08 or around there and a great warranty. just a suggestion. our lhs sells them for 73 a piece. and i passed in favor of the futabas. hummm...

I would stick with a KO servo if you are using their receiver and radio. For the TC3 I would personally use the KO PS-2173 if you want an analog type servo or the KO PDS-2143 if you want a Digital Type servo. The 2143 will center better than the 2173. They both run on 6.0 volts. The the 2143 has a .01 second advantage in transit time over the 2173 though. Either way you will be happy with their servos. Call Billy at Speedworld Raceway and he will be glad to help you better decide on which servo to select for your TC3. He also has very competitive pricing on these servos. i have the futaba 9550 n Ko 2143.
both r gd servos, but the futaba 9550 is way smaller than the standard size of a servo.in electric cars,i guess every gram of weight shaved off helps,i say go 4 the futaba 9550.

ok. i am looking at the ko propo servos 2173 and 2143. the 2173 being analog, and the 2143 being digital. i am guessing the digital is more responsive and better centering right ? other than that their pretty much the same ? thanks..

also on the recievers for radio's is it better to stay with the 301 reciever for my ko propo mars R . or should i get the novak xxtra, or xxl. which is going to have better reception and less likely to glitch or loose contact with each other ?

I'm going to suggest the Airtronics servos. I had an old 151 (think it was around 95/.09) that just flat lasted forever. I used it for about 6 years and it performed flawlessy. I sold it with my 10GT and to my knowledge its still performing flawlessly (about 2 years ago). I dont know about the durability of the others but that one was great. A friend of mine ran the 757 and had a few problems with them dying so who knows. I just purchased the 357. Plenty fast and strong.

Go with the KO 2143.. or get a really good JR.

Stay away from Hitec.... cheap and they break. I will never buy their junk again. Having 3-4 of the guys I race with break theirs this summer and me breaking 2 of mine I will never recommend them.

OK, I have the XXTRA Reciever and its AWSOME!! Some glitches but just make sure to insulate the servo and attenna wires

Mike- Hi-Tec's are not that bad. They are kinda slow but ive had several people and myself say that they are really dependable. I had a t-maxx and i took it in snow, rain, mud, sand, all of the worst things u can put the servo to ( I even had it bashed by big rocks!!) and the thing lasted me for a year(I know a year is short but look at all the thigs i did to it). But for $30-$50, for playin around, U cant go wrong with a hitec
