Default Newbi Need help w/Motor plz.

Should I buy this motor for my new Yokomo MR-4TC BD. This is my 1st electric car, or should I get different motor please charm in.

This is Team Orion Revolution 12T Double, Touring Motor.

This is a very good motor for your car .. very fast !!! also If it is your first .. you might try a 27 turn stock motor or 19t motor ... either way you cant go wrong ... Have fun ...

if it is your first car then a 12t is probably too much power,

a 27T stock is more than enough,

It is my 1st electric car but not 1st rc car, I need a fast motor, unlike nitro engine, there are too many electric motor & that make it hard to choose. So if you think there is a better motor, please let me know ( under 19T & above 10T) that is only requirment.

If you were to race every weekend, then start off with the 27t to build up your skills.

Get a Marc Rheinard edition or a David Spashett 12*1 they will work really well. Buy some Sprint brushes and make sure you have acces to a com lathe.
