Default motor suppression

Hi guys, I got a problem, my engine got so hot, the solderings holding the capacitor for suppression failed and the capacitor got lost.
Whit what kind of capacitor should I replacce it?
The engine is a team associated stock 19 turn.

normally u just use the ones that come (pre attached)with the motor. if its getting so hot the solder melted, its time to gear down!!! use a bigger spur gear r a smaller pinion gear, and re-solder the cap. back on

I wouldn't think the manufacturer would send wrong gears, but generally it wouldn't be the right gearing for the motor (engine) your using.

For starters, that motor is pure junk as goes with every RTR R/C motor. All RTR motors are like this.

Default hot motor

milen,
That motor should be good for drifting, but you have to change the rubber tires to abs. if you want set ups for drifting. go to driftrcentral.com I know the people that run the site and all are the finest drift pilots on the west coast. good luck.

keep it sidways.

one of the mags reported the motor to be junk and to run to hot. my lhs got a few customers report that there motor ran too hot as well. its a low grade motor get a stock motor like p2k2 and u will be much much faster!! 27t stock motor will blow that motor away
