which discharger?

Spintec Battery Manager or INTEGY Indi 030?

They are actually 2 different TYPES of discharges so your question is hard to answer.
1 is a device that discharges slowly with a pulse built in.
2 is a tray that discharges each cell at a HIGH RATE.

The Spintec or the Trinity Dyna Pulse is a great idea but it's best if you STILL get a tray.

Since I race 4 and 6 cell I went with the trinity dyna and then have a rayspeed tray.

You cant really loose with either of the choices you have asked about but eventually with the Spintec you would want a tray as well to back it up.
I would NOT spend the money on a Integy 30 if I bought a Spintec.I would buy a tray that discharges at alot lower amp rate.
Tekin Tray,Novak Tray,Integy zero tray,trinity tray,and/or others.
I use the Rayspeed tray due to quality, fan and being able to switch the cutoff.

Goodluck with your choice.

I thought about getting a Spintec or that Trinity dyna pulse. Anybody try either? Which one do people prefer?

hmm.... this is what i did...
i bought the 030.... great discharger for ppl runs stock and 19t..
and it only takes 6~7 min to discharge the whole pack full of charge

then i got the dyna pulse, great to bring some of my old practice pack back
to some life... down side is... it takes almost 7hours to discharge the
full pack. so i only cycle the practice pack with it..

last i got the integy 06s, i try my race pack down to 0v and leave it till next race.

if you are running mod... I think you just need some tray that will
tray your pack down to .9v with low amp discharge.. ie. novak smart tray.

Try the Spintec Battery Manager, truely awesome.

The spintec and dyna pulse seem like a good investment. I was going to get the dyna pulse, but got an indi 30 due to price. I do plan on getting the dyna pulse though in the future when i see me packs turning more into practice packs. The spintec and dyna pulse though take a long time to discharge so that's when i use my indi 30, then after that i tray them on the smart tray.

Anyone here try using a stronger fan on the indi 30? I somehow shortcircuit or burnt mine (it was not due to the indi 30), and the indi 30 gets pretty hot.

Where does the 0-30 bring the cells down to?
