I love sorex for asphalt but there good for carpet? Are those premounts with the black inserts? And where have you been getting them from?

Jaco Blues have been great since BSR took over the operation. Never had so much grip without falling off over the life of the tires.

The new orange compound is very good on asphalt!

We use Sweep QTS32's at our track and in the WCICS series as a spec tire. I can't say enough good things about them, cost effective, long life, consistent grip, etc.

I'm not interested in playing the "tire of the month" game, so it's nice having everyone on the same playing field with spec tires, especially for people newer to racing.

Any new set will be the BSR Jacos. They have a blue & white label. Old ones had Orange label with blue font.

In open tire racing, sorex 28 provide the best grip. I still like the blue insert tires. The new black insert tires are okay too, but me and my friend found if we happened to over heat them a bit(over driving our mod cars on med-high grip), they took longer to cool back down and become stable again. Blue insert seems to be a bit more forgiving in that regard.
