How many people (on RCtech) have a car that fits the description for USLMP?

Full thread here:

That thread was an extension of this previous thread:

I'm very glad to see a return to racing cars that look like real racing cars!

Does there really need to be another class? Seems like most races have loads of classes these days with 4 people in each one...and why does every new class get slower?

This should be faster than VTA or USGT. I would expect anyway. If anyone is running something like this, how does it compare to laptimes for other classes?

I was planning on either converting an F109 or a GenX 10. Am I missing something. You sound like thats not possible.

It's quite easy to use a standard F1 rear axle on a WGT chassis. You'll need the axle (with hubs) and a pair of 6x10mm flanged bearings. Just drill or ream out the rear axle adjusters to 10mm to accept the bearings.

The F109 should be ready to go; just change the body.

All of this is already discussed in the other thread:

There needs to be a bit more clarity of the rules as far as rubber tires are concerned. What type of rubber tires are to be used? The only reason why I ask is that there was a F103GT kit in which you could run touring sedan rubber tires. This could open up another can of worms as far as the type of tires then start the brand "spec-ing" of tires talk to this class.

Lap times are a few tenths quicker than USGT and about 1 sec faster than USVTA, closing speeds are considerably faster for the 21.5 LM1 versus USGT.

I have measured several different brands of TC rims, and none meet the 50mm maximum diameter rule.

I have the 1996 Tamiya 911 GT1 and want about 5 cars off that list.
