I had the Exotek Pro-4 and really liked it. But certain critical parts are nearly impossible to find (driveshaft, bulkheads, upper camber mount, and diff parts). I also think it could have benifited from lower shock towers and short shocks along with somehow getting a gear diff in the rear. The towers Nd shocks are an easy fix if exotek wanted to do it, but the gear diff is a whole other story. That would probably take machining some bulkheads out of aluminum and fitting another company's (maybe the evo 6?) diff in there.

I suspect there will be a bunch of used Awesomatix cars with the 2015 A700 Evo II pending delivery now...

The pro4 with an exotek chassis is still quite a performer.

That's because I don't really remember anything about it. It was called the xxx r now that I did a little bit of digging on it.

Maybe not as the new car is upgradable with a chassis plate, new shocks, motor mount and lower Arms as the key new parts. So possible many will keep the old car and just buy the key upgrade bits.

Sure does look like it. Imagine throwing in some lw electronics, shorty lipo, and squeezing in a center diff! It sure would be an eye catcher at the least.

Out of the two Evo 6 and the Awesomatix which one is better for 17.5? Why?

Both cars should fare well in 17.5, but I'd take the Awesomatix because of parts availability, overall durability and its spec racing track record.
