Help! TC4 components/build

Hey all
I'm a new guy to the RC scene. And after hours of doing my homework I've decided to buy the TC4 chassis kit.
But before I go out and buy all the needed parts I would like some input if i have chosen well or poorly or even overkill!
All I'm planning on doing is having some fun in my street and car lots etc....
So...
Transimitter/receiver - spektrum dx2e with sr201
Steering servo- hitec hs-5625mg
Motor/esc (2 options) - reedy radon 17t brushed with xp sc200
Reedy 540r 3300kv brushless with xp sc700

And what battery and chargers for both motor/esc combo
Thanks. Love to hear ur suggestions

Bash or race? if the former, you are basically on track. If racing is the goal, you need a brushless motor, either 17.5 for TC or 25.5 for VTA... and make it a Novak if you are running USVTA rules.... check the TC4 thread for advise. Most guys will be very helpful.

Edit: I see you mentioned "fun in the streets"... but I would consider a 17.5 or 25.5 sensor type motor in case you make the leap to racing. Trackstar and Speed passion offer very cheap but good motors for the $$$

Thanks a lot. Will start off bashing. Work on my driving skills. Lol

For what you want to do its fine. I would check into a SMC battery and maybe a used Onyx 230 charger. Have fun!
