what if you deadshort the pack after having it on the zero thirty... im planning on getting the duratrax 20amp.. since i run stock and after that planning on dropping it to zero on my booster2,,

i saw a guy using a male deans plug that had the ends soldered together and once his pack goes to zero he places tthe plug in the female of the batery pack to deadshort the pack and he keeps it that way until he is ready to charge again... dont know if it is a good idea but it sure is cheap,,,
