Default Good traction compound for carpet?

For guys running carpet, what do you use?

Is Zip Grip good on carpet? Ive used it on pavement, but dont know how it will work with carpet. And I dont like the strong smell of that stuff.

I have been using the Corally SXT 3.0 for the last two years and it works OK.

Zip grip is alright - black dot, yellow dot. Others are SXT 3.0, Gravity's LGC, Jack the Gripper (if you can find it)

SXT 3.0 is nice for the lack of odor, but old fashioned Paragon works better.

Try some sick grip from franchise race products. Supposed to be really good. I run for them but cant use it since our track is an sxt 3.0 track only. Give it a try. Nothing but good reviews from all that have used it. Oderless too.

Good idea to find out whats allowed at your local track. I asked to do a couple lap test with the sick grip and was told no. So i cant use it until summer on pavement. Its good for all surfaces.

A few guys at my local track used to use sticky fingers but switched to sxt 3.0. They found the sxt to be faster, and would last the whole run. Sticky fingers would fall off later in the run.

I use Sxt 3.0 or Liquid Gravity LGC. I actually prefer the LGC but it is harder to get where I am.

At rug racers Green was the one to use. At my local club I prefer sxt3.0 as it seems to need less time to work as my local club doesn't really have long between heats etc.
