Is Team Associateds' Pan Car program on the way out?
Hey guys, I heard rumor (or this may be old news, idk) that AE was going to drop their pan car production? I assume that this means the 1/12 scale car also?I'm getting back into 1/12 scale and had a R5.1 and really like'd it and a friend of mine let me drive his R5.2 and wow, it is great but I don't want to purchase a car with no future. Anybody got any insight on this?

They are out of WGT but 1/12 should still continue on. The 12R platform is tried and true. The way things go with AE a 12R5.2 should be there current car for years to come.. lol. Plenty of parts available and aftermarket gear to tickle the fancy even IF it gets dropped. And that is a far reach if...

Even if it does get dropped, there are parts a plenty out there and will be for years to come.
But if it bugs you, get a world champion CRC. :D |

Thank you guys for the input. It has been awhile since I've paid any attention to 10th scale oval, but yeah, your right, they haven't came out with anything new in a 10th scale oval car for quite some time and with the WGT dropped maybe those that were telling me this were just assuming on the 12th scale also, and yes, even if it did "go away" a person should be able to keep it going for quite some time. Thanks again for your input!
