Unlike recent previous years at Snowbirds, there did not seem to be the "one" motor everybody had to have to stay competitive. I saw a very wide range of 21.5 and 17.5 motors in the touring cars this year: D4-1S, Motiv, Fantom, Wurks R1-V9 and Reedy were especially common. And, the rumor mill was going fast and furious on the Reedy. The Wurks motors were impossible to find in the weeks leading up to Snowbirds and some were being sold at the track for more than the original retail cost. The Oval crowd were big fans of the Wurks motor. EA was using his nice Trinity motor dyno to test motors for folks. When he tested my various brands (new from the box) they were all within 1% of one another. So, in my case, all of the motors were way better than the driver would ever be.

I didn't get any pictures this year. My videos are going up at youtube.com/snoopyrc. They are uploading right now. I didn't get everything and I am not sure that everything I have is labeled correctly so if a race is not right just leave me a comment and I will fix it. I just want it up so you guys can have the material. I will upload another group tomorrow, er later this morning. It takes it a while when you upload five or six at a time.
