Hey John, How big is RC racing in Athens and what classes are popular? I have some relatives there and might end up traveling there soon. Thanks for any info.

Hey,

TC is currently booming in Greece. On the 24th of May we have a club race which is expected to attract 35+ entries and two weeks later, on the 7th of June is Rnd 2 of Greek nationals at the same venue where entries should reach 40.
By the way I am the classes chairman at the national federation so anything you want please contact me direct by email [email protected]

We only race open mod.

Cheers,
John

I love my D07, and will like to hear more about why you choose D07 over other brands?

Nick, I race USGT at BRR with my Carbon Ghost. The only spares you need are a 1 set of arms, set of hubs front and rear and 1 set of spindles. Basically the plastics. I have only broken a rear hub when I took a hard side slam into the wall going to the back straight. I would also pick up some ARC turnbuckles. They are the right leng but seem to hold up better the the VBC one. Is bent a couple of those on the same rear hub that broke. Those parts, a set of sway bars and full set of springs and you will be set. If your not getting a carbon edition evo, I might suggest a top deck, I broke two on my original ghost before I upgraded. A second diff for the front is nice but not nessecary. I swapped in mine (2.5mil cst) last weekend from the spool and the car instantly drove better. Also pick up some DCJ's if you plan on using full steering throw. I should be back there for a July race, just don't know which one yet.

Loved the look of the car, the Quality was way better then I expected for the price. Really I was tired of following the herd and want something different from Xray. The D07 is way more stable in a crowd of cars then my xray was. I race at a large club so on club nights for time management we can run up to 12 cars to a heat (Down to D mains most nights). The D07 turns like my xray but is more stable when bumped/rubbed by other cars. The rear is so planted, but it still rotates when I want it to.

I too bought the D07 (and D06) because they look much better. And the D07 is surprisingly fast. Much faster than the D06.

I like it responds very well to setup changes, easy to maintain and quite durable (the hard bumper makes a huge difference).

I can't say it's more stable than the T4 2015 (owned one for about 2 months), but sure the D07 is just as fast and stable.

My Xray was a 14. The funny thing for me is I think my d06 is as fast or faster then my D07. The 06 rotates more and is always on edge. I really had to be on the wheel all the time. The D07 is fast but way easier to drive fast.

Hi all,

I need to buy some spares for my D07. I have only found them at vbcracing.com. Anyone has experience ordering from vbcracing.com? Do they ship fast?

Thank you very much in advance!

Thank you very much for the reply!

I am in Europe and checking vbcracingusa... They don't have in stocks the spares that I need.

I have only managed to find the spares at vbc racing.com, but I have never ordered before from them... This is why I am wondering.

Thanks again
