Question about the D06 shocks ... My rear shock springs are loose between the spring cups and the adjustment collars when the arms are at their full droop. It's like the springs themselves are too short?? The shock end connectors are fully screwed on... Any help? Thanks!

Loose springs are just fine. If you tightend the preload adjusters, you would raise the ride hight. However there usually is only very little play. You may have too much droop if there is a big gap.

Okay, thanks ... It's not a ton of play, but I thought I'd ask.

Just check a few things:

1.) Overall length of the shock should be 59.0-60.0mm. I generally stick to 59mm since it makes the car feel more direct from increased pack. A lot of times when you

2.) Have there been any modifications to the shocks or shock towers to accomodate longer springs (like Yokomo or HPI)? This forces you to crank those preload collars almost all the way down when using the kit VBC TBB short springs.

3.) If those first 2 things have checked out, A little spring float is normal at full droop extension when using 3.0+mm or droop and stiffer springs.

If you still aren't totally convinced, post a pic of your car while sitting at ride height and a pic at full droop so we can take a look see.

Hope that helps!

Guys that are running on lower traction, try using 2 screws total in the motor mount. Just the centre ones on the front and back of the motor mount. Tested this last night and it was money!

Ryan.

it was from my previous Spec R ride. however, i have replaced it with stock due to the ball cup not being able to cup on properly. same goes for my spacers.
