NEW Serpent 12th scale
 

Has anyone heard or seen anything on or if there's a new car coming ????

Ok because I heard that maybe this month.

Paul C ran a version of it at the worlds this week. He said it should be released in a month or so. I am figuring on the "or so".

I did not get any pictures but yes there is one coming. Paul was driving a prototype version of it. New chassis, new tube support with the ability to run the side springs inboard or outboard, new pod, new front suspension, same old meh center shock (which he was not running).

Chickies car looked fantastic though when most everyone was fighting for traction.

Was he running at the IIC?

No sorry, at the Worlds. Think we had 4 Serpent(ish) 12th scales. I was running an S120L, Chicky had an LTX and the new prototype, Mike was running an LTX (I think), and Dave had a heavily On-Point modded LT ot LTX.

That is what I am aware of anyway.

New car will be setup to run tranverse or inline battery too which I forgot to mention.

Any more news on the new 1/12th? Keen for a new serpent for Christmas haha

The new car is awesome. I am not sure what I am allowed to say so I wont say much. The enhancements are great and have been needed for some time. I know the final design is done as I have seen the prototype car with all the changes. Paul's car that he ran at the Worlds and Cleveland Indoor Champs was not the full Serpent car that will be released. I think we will see it soon, but I cannot say when that will be as I do not know.

Sorry, your not going to be able to see pictures. I can tell you the center pivot is different than other cars. The new design should keep it from getting bound up when you tap a wall. The front end will also get some new features but has some similar design of the existing front end. Sorry I know you want more but I can't say more than that.
