Default soldering wires on a V2

Any tips? I had to resort to my largest iron that I normally use for cells! My usual 25 watt iron wouldnt touch it, I can only assume the brush holders are very efficient at condusting the heat away!!!

The endbell sucks heat up so quick that you need to use an iron that has a large tip or is a pretty hot one.

Sand the surface first! There seems to be a "protective layer" almost... on that endbell, because it stops the copper from oxidizing. (I am unsure of this) but after I began sanding the endbell, I had much better luck with my wires actually sticking!
