Tamiya shaft drive cars internal ratios

I am trying to find all the ratios (i.e. final drive/crown gear combos) available in the Tamiya range of TB cars. Anyone have some of this info or know where to find it?

I found some on the web, but it's a bit confusing to say the least.

It is important for me to know the actual number of teeth on the crownwheel and pinion as well, not only the internal drive, because I might have to try some mix and match bodging for my project.

What I have so far is

TB01 2.6 (39/15)
TB02 2.6 (don't know the tooth count)
TB03 2.4375 (39/16)
TB04 2.294? (seen it mentioned - crown 40 teeth (?) which would require pinion 17. 4...? closer if 39/17)
TB04 PRO 2.5 (40/16)
TB05 2.4375 (39/16)
TB06 2.5? (40/16?)

I have used TBxx numbers but I am not sure they're all correct with all that Tamiya mess (MS, EVO whatever and so on). Please let me know if there are differences in internal gears.

According to my TB04 Pro manual, the ratio is 2.500

Added to the list, thank you. Do you have the crown/pinion tooth count? I suspect 40/16 but just to be sure.

Diffs use a 40T gear and the smaller drive gears are 16T.

Added.

How different is TB04 from the pro version? Would there be a chance the "normal" has a different ratio?

I have the TB04 Pro and have not seen the basic or Pro II versions so I really can't answer your question.

I also have a base TB03 with some upgrades and I can tell you that the drive train in my TB03 is much smoother, much quieter and likely much more efficient than my TB04.

Does the TB03 have the ratio as above? What about tooth count?

You have the correct ratio for the TB03. I believe the gears are 39/16

That would be about right.
Updated.

Interesting comment about the TB04. I would like to look at the profile of those gears (teeth). Something seems odd to be able to have the same size pinion in 15, 16 and 17 teeth and have all of these interchangeable with crown wheels in two tooth counts available.

A lot of people complain about the noise these bevel gear assemblies generate. My Yokomo SD SSG is very quiet (but Yokomo only has 40/17 gears for it).
