Hope to see HB making its way back to the top again with this ride. Both JJ and Andy did well at the Worlds (16 and 17 I think?) considering it is a new car and the short time frame they had with it.

But still, the statement: "complete re-think of the standard TC design" does not belong in the same paragraph in an advertisement for a cookie cutter car. Makes you question their validity. Would have been better if they just manned up and said that they "updated" their design to compete against the current cars. I guess it gave them a good laugh reading this thread

Technically they delivered on what the statement says. RETHINK of the STANDARD design. We're the ones that took it out of context. If it had said a completely new design then their would be a legitimate beef.

Yeah, I guess it is correct that they thought really hard about the current TC designs and came to a conclusion that Yokomo had it right all this time.

Any other iteration will be failed a mutation. The car will handle great no doubt.

Anyone hear anything new regarding a release date for this car? It was mentioned a few pages back that it was not in its final form just year and would be released sometime next year. Is that still accurate?

I have always liked HPI and this is likely a good car but I'm not seeing anything that would tempt me away from... well the half dozen other great cars on the market. It's all in details eh - well I can't fricken see'em becuase they are black instead of purple. At least put the purple back man!
