Use heavy duty grease. The kind that won't fling off. The components should last a good while.

I bought my son a Pro 5 chassis. I checked Tower Hobbies to find-out they don't have many parts for the chassis.
I thought Tower Hobbies is the HPI distributor in the U.S.?

Where can I get parts for the Pro 5?

Thanks

Looks like HPI is discontinuing support for the Pro-5. Finding spares at mainstream dealers is going to be difficult now. Ebay and small shops might be an alternative.

I'm using Yokomo and Tamiya parts on my car.

I bought two kits so I'm spare extensive for the moment. Picked up two kits on eBay for $550 USD last year, anticipated part support drying up.

Just seemed obvious since the main US distributor and many others arent keeping parts on-hand anymore.

I guess I've been lucky. In all my 10 years of HPI TC's I've never broken a single arm. Now I'll break 5 the next raceday! lol

i've only broken 2, but its only been run like 5 times recently (just because its setup for VTA, and VTA isn't run often around me anymore)

The Pro 5 is no longer supported by HPI, it is however supported by HB Racing. Absolute Hobbyz and Amain listed as distributors. And tower hobbies is no longer carrying HB Racing products at all.

everyone should have 4mm wheel hubs that you could use, instead of the factory HPI/HB parts

I'm running 3Racing ones on mine, mine are wider, but still using a 3rd party hubs

tamiya, 3Racing, Spec-R, probably even Xray will work

Guys for those of you who would like spare parts or another roller, I have a new build rolling chassis I am looking to sell. $200 +/- depending on what's included. Never touched the ground. Please message me for details.
