You can thank ROAR for killing any innovation surrounding battery dimensions. Maybe they think we will run sub-C again one day

or maybe every single car can have its own battery dimension, so that you and every retailer will need different batteries for different cars.

You act like one lipo battery fits all. In this hobby there are tons of different sized lipos for different models. My rustler 2s won't fit in my 1/18, does that mean 1/18 scale shouldn't exist? But we're talking about shorty packs here. Which alot of manufactures already make.

I'm not familiar with roar rules but if the battery has to be a certain dimension than okay fine. I'm personally excited hpi is continuing the pro line. My first rc was the original hpi pro and that thing could withstand hits on curbs at full 9 turn speed unscathed. This could possibly get losi back into the game and maybe even traxxas. I would love to see permanent tc tracks pop up around the Orlando area. Why couldn't hpi at least give us a teaser sketch or something.

Sooooo....How about that HPI PRO 5! on

The PRO 5 will most definitely be belt. Hopefully, this chassis will help revive it's competitive touring car reputation.

doubt it. the announcement mentions a rethink of the current TC design.

Seeing how Dawson just raced with him this past Sunday at one of our local tracks. You can bank on what he said!!!
