Default TRANSPONDER POSTION

HI

I have noticed that top 1/10 touring car racers cars they mount thier transponders away from the chassis, why is this?

carbon fibre doesn't like the frequency emitted by the transponder, it absorbs most of the waves allowing only a small fraction of those emitted to actually reach the loop

That's funny, in the picture, it's still mounted on carbon fiber, haha. If that is your 415, you should get the TAMIYA plastic one that comes on a parts tree. I think from the TB02 kits?

Did you know that the counting loop is UNDER the car at almost every track? Take a better look at the picture and you'll understand...
