Gotcha, thank you for your input

GT12 will be run as an exhibition class at the 2021 ROAR Carpet Onroad Nats in Chesapeake,VA March 11-14. They will be using the SJT rubber tire for the class with 21.5 motors and I think 1S but I'm not 100% sure. SJT has been working very hard on development of these tires and gotten a lot of useful information and feedback throughout the process and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform during the nationals in a couple weeks

The new rubber tires that have been mounted and trued by Scott are absolutely way better than the first batch. They handle so much better. Do they feel like foam? No- but they are not suppose to. They now have the consistency and longevity that we were all looking for in this class. Well done Scott Jakes. If you tried some of the first batch tires and have not tried the mounted and trued sets. You need to give them a try again. Ask Sam Isaacs. He drove a locals a12 with the newer rubber tires and said they were dialed. He obviously reset fast lap lol

Just curious as to, if you're running crc, what yall setup is. Finally went back to the track after a yr with pretty much a stock setup with 10° caster blocks

I run 5 degree blocks but we run foams here in Fla. One of our drivers got a new set of rubber tires to try outdoors later this month- we'll see?

Yea we run foams as well. I think I'll try out 5s next time around. Car was well until I got greedy and tried 3 back on reactive. Got more edgy especially at the beginning, cost me at the beginning of the race

I run 1 front and 2 rear. On carpet went with gold center spring. My other change is the long arms set-up up front with a Sanwa servo that helps me out. I have two setting but only use one. Want to put one in my F1 but presently can't find it. I could not tell you how to set it up someone did it for me but you need a M17 do use it.

I run the crc on the rubber tires and on black carpet. I run right at 1 degree of camber. 5 reactive with 1 shim in back. A little less than 1 degree per side of toe out on the Hudy setup station. .50mm front springs an .5mm droop. Rear is .45 sides, 3k lube red center with 35w and around 2mm of droop. The rear is set to max width. This is a black carpet setup. I use SXT sauce (regular) to clean the tires almost immediately after a run and don't sauce before. Don't try to clean these with motor spray or brake cleaner. You stand a chance of destroying them.
