I'm still waiting patiently for my Phat Body's order to show up. A class of 21.5 USGT Spec motor racing is about to start in Oshkosh, WI. A few of us ran GT12 back in 2015 to 2017, so this will be a bit slower and should be more fun to race. Should be great racing!

21.5 GT12 has become the biggest class at our club in NC. Each week more and more folks are choosing to join in. Everybody seems to really like the super close and very affordable racing.

We've made kevlar bumpers along with bigger pieces of foam.

I sanded down the leading edge of a Tamiya foam bumper and it fits perfect in the body post location of my X12 inside of a Montech RS3.

What are your rules for the GT12 Class and where do run on? Thanks.

Our rules that are run most everywhere (Florida and the snowbirds- the orginators of the USA class). Any 21.5 motor- 1 cell- any 1/12th chassis- WGT striped tires-- and any GT body). We also run for 6 minutes. So places are trying the Rubber tires -There are now two types Yokomo and Scott Jakes. We tested Scotts both indoors and outdoors. They work okay in doors but not outdoors. The Yokomos are alot different. Will be trying them out on carpet in two weeks. If someone down here wants to run either rubber tires in out club race is is okay with us. Not sure what they are going to do for the snowbirds?
