I am very glad Hara came to the race. We need to know how fast the Euro and Asian racers are so we don't get complacent. If he hadn't come Barry and Billy would have had they cars turning 12.6 sec laps and thinking they were ballistic. Hara could turn 12.2's all day if he needed to. This made the US drivers work to get their cars better. Everyone benefited from Hara being there.

If Hara didn't race here US drivers would go to the Worlds thinking they are hot stuff and get crushed. Now they get crushed at home and know that have some work to do.

Awesome race! Joe and crew made sure everything was in order the whole weekend, despite numerous delays for weather. Raffle was full of excellent prizes, and yes, Hara put on an exhibition in Mod class!

you said it Adrian... It is so cool to be at a race when there are people like Hara, baker, blackstock etc etc etc... we all can learn from them.
The funny thing is most of the fast guys were asking Hara questions to make them faster. So I don't think they cared that he was there.

Also I want to thank joe's Mom and Dad for feeding all of us with some good food.

Joe thank you for great week of racing.

Nats Pics

They're a little out of sequence, but who cares, right?

Default rc in Canada

Sure ... there is r/c in canada but we are linked with the US because we don't have any Sanctioned national here so we are allowed to go the Roar US Nats.

first of all ROAR isn't like it use to be anybody can go to the nationals period. you show me where ALL the drivers in the top 10 ran a regional championship race in the last past year to qualify for the Nationals. I remember back in the early 90's where you had to be top 10% in your region in the class that you wanted race in just to qualify for the nationals. Now Roar doesn't even hold it to that rule. I signed up for Roar this year the day of the Carpet Nationals and I know I'm not in the top 10% in my region. There are a lot more other problems here with the NATS and where you are born should never be one of them.

I must have forgotten the rule about qualifying for the nationals. I've gone to many over the years. This was a good ROAR Nationals- alot better than my last one I attended.
I over heard a Top US racer talking just across the pit from Hara's pit to several other racers. He said he was glad he was there because it showed us Americans what it takes to become A World Champion.
If you live here you can race here!I even picked up afew things by just observing Hara's pit. I used one of them - unfortunately it didn't help this time but it will later(I hope).
Hara is a class act and having him at the nationals was a plus for everyone.

well said... just from a spectator side, it was nice to see someone of his caliber there, if he put on a clinic than everyone take your lumps and learn. its no different than people like myself freshly moving out of the novice class stepping into stock or 19t and getting my ass handed to me by guys that have been doing it for years. your choices are get better or stay stagnet and bitch about were someone is born!!

i thought it was cool when my 4yr old daughter recognized him from my magazines she always tares up on me!

Default Nats

Congrats to all winners! Speedline did a great job with running the Nats!

It was awesome to watch Hara wheel his car around the track. I'm glad he was there, he is definitely on another level.

Bullfrog - One simple change I'd love to see ROAR make, is limiting practice, like Cleveland and Vegas. Maybe have three or four practice heats set-up and that is it.
