Default not sure if there is a thread for this, but ? on radio..

i am also in need of a radio, i have noticed jr has a new radio and futaba, and kopropo. i am thinking about the new mars R, but i want your alls opinion on this. the m8 doesn't feel good to me, thats why i didn't list it. i am looking at either the kopropo 's new mars r , the jr's r1, or futaba 's 3pk...thanks

Do the grip test - for example are the Mars too small for people with large hands.

The only one I would stay away from is JR. I had an XR3 and had nothing but glitch problems with it. Many guys that I race with have similar problems with theirs. They seem to glitch a lot when another car is close to your on the track. I'm sure there are lots of happy JR owners out there, but this is something to be aware of. I personally like Futaba the best. The balance, fit, feel and features are excellent. I don't like the "wide" feel of the M8, Lynx or R-1. They just feel too big and clunky for my liking. I agree with Cole about the Mars. If you have big hands or fat fingers (or both, like me,) you probably won't like the fit of the throttle. If your LHS carries these brands, try them on for size as Cole suggests. Good luck!

I personally love my R-1,but if I was choosing one today it would be a toss-up between the R-1 and the new Futaba coming out. I saw it at the hobby show and it had a great feel to it.

been using 3PJ for awhile now...love the grip on it. yet it took me awhile to learn all the features it has. M8 is good, the handle is not as great as the 3PJ, IMHO.

There's a secret menu on M8 to activate the ABS, has anyone tried it ?

I just got one of those MX-3s.... it feels really nice and has nice features too. (and sometimes, if you dont like the feel of the grip, you can just add tennis wrap tape, the cushy stuff and it will feel totally different.)
