Tire tweak. I've used a lot of different brands, but none are as consistent as Tire tweak. It maintains its traction during a run and doesn't fade out fast like some of the others. Also makes tuning your cars setups easier knowing what to expect out of your tires grip.

Jack the Gripper compound works really well for us when we run on carpet.
And also we use tire tweak and buggy grip for out asphalt tracks

With that said, how do you break in new rubber tires??[/QUOTE]
Depending on the surface you don't.
New tryes should give good grip, I just clean them and sauce them like usual.

Not to complicate things, but I've spent the last year here in Korea running with these guys, and really, the choice of tire sauce depends on the tire, temp, humidity, and track surface. Also, the car will perform differently based on how long you leave the compound on, and the amount of time cooked in the warmers.
However, with all that said, Paragon FX2 is a great all around sauce that is pretty universal.

Try WD40, it works quite well and stays consistant.

I run new glued tyres for about 5 laps to scrub them in. I then use Simple green to clean the tyres up and once that's dry I like Much more acute wiped on about 20 minutes before your run. Unless its really cold i dont bother baking just wipe dry if it has not all soaked in. I use minimal Acute as i dont like wasting something that is hard to get sometimes. Makes the tyres nice and consistent all run. When coming up to another race day and the tyres have not been used for more than a week i will clean them the night before and treat them a bit heavier with the acute and let them dry overnight in a zip lock bag. Im getting 40 to 50 runs on a set of rears and up to 30 on fronts on a painted asphalt surface which i think is awesome.
