Default Blown Motor?

Hi, I have a new but old style 2007 Novak 10.5 which has sensored wired build in. To make a long story short, I been racing past 3 weekends with it with Tekin RS Gen 2. Tonight I was just blasting around the lot full throttle and braking and drifting a bit. I figure car slow down due to battery dumping. Then I realize that motor has lot of drag brake from instant throttle and some burning smell plus really hot. After I got home, I put another battery and i see motor still have lots of drag brake and heats up right away plus even ESC dean and battery leads are hot too which I unplugged it right away.
So I guess this motor is DONE?????

Going to try out a 4.5 Modified motor. What gear ratio recommend safer side for my TC 6.1?

if you're running timing & turbo on the speedo I'd stay up near 8.0.

Depends on the track run time how you drive ect but a good starting point would be 8-9:1.

Now I am at 7.91 in blinky mode and felt kind of flat in low end.
Should I go down in gear ration into the 6.96 or get it out of blinky mode
and bring some boost/turbo?
