Cool ROAR Approvals?

They shouldn't for stock racing. It was bad enough for mod but here we are talking bearings and free spin vs. bushings and motor drag.
As sure as I say this one of those guys will go and do something like they did last time.
If they would just follow their written rules (in the contect it was written for) it would be OK. I just can't trust they would do that.

Default Not even

I ran against a brushless LRP system on sportsman profile. We were just practicing for fun, so we went head to head. It was okay at full speed, but the tork out of the corners was almost like a mod still.

I suggest that you give Bob Ingersol an email. He is the one that approves such things. He will be able to tell you if it has been submitted. You can get his email from the ROAR site.

Here is the list of currently approved motors. http://www.roarracing.com/approvals/smotor.php

The current rule structure only allows brushless in modifed class.
