So, now I've run into another snag. I finally got around to putting the elctronics in my car and when I went to install my pinion, it was way too big. My kit came with an 84t 48p spur and I was trying to use a 43t pinion for a 3.91 fdr, but the pinion is too big to fit under the top deck. Did anybody ever make a gear chart showing what combos will fit in the r10? I'm gonna need to order some gears it looks like.

That's not uncommon for TC kits, it would take 3 spur sizes to cover 17.5, 13.5 and Mod. I'd recommned going to 64p.

Since I have to order gears, I plan on going to 64p since I have a bunch of pinions already. I was trying to get a ballpark on how small a spur I can get and still be able to mesh while getting an fdr of around 3.9.

88T 64p is recommended unless you want to grind out the center post on the motor mount.

Mine is ground out and I can fit a 92T spur and a 55 pinion.

I run a 3.91 FDR in 13.5 using (64P) 94/48 combo and it fits well. I also carry a 90 & 98.

A 90/46 (3.91 FDR) combo will not fit. 90/47 (3.82 FDR) or bigger pinion will.

Finally got to do some shake down runs with the new car. All I can say is WOW I really like this car. I put it out there with box stock setup with a 21.5 motor and it was almost dead on the money. Only issue was that it would get a little loose off power, but that was easily corrected by staying on power just a little bit. Not that it's much of a surprise, but this car is miles better than my old 416. Thanks everyone here for all the help and tips that you have shared.

BNIB kit I am selling. Wanted to build it but have had almost zero time to do so.. therefor it is up for grabs. I bought Ivan's roller so I will still enjoy an R10 from time to time

Default Chassis anyone?

HI Guys: I guess no one is hanging out at the R10 2013 forum anymore..
Mine was the last post 3 days ago. Anyway, I am looking for a bottom chassis and top carbon brace since I broke mine. I'll go out and buy new if needed, but I figured somebody must have upgraded to the 2015 chassis, and have a 2013 sitting around collecting dust. If so, let me know how much you want for it shipped to Socal.
Thanks!
Jerry
