its all about chassis flex.

so for high grip ( mostly indoor but maybe even outdoor ) the aluminium chassis is the best choice

for low to medium grip use the original carbon chassis.

when grip is really low you can even try a thinner carbon chassis or top deck für more flex.

Yes depending on if your racing 17.5 or Mod I'd say your best option in the NW for asphalt would be stock 2.25 carbon. I'd recommend having the option 1.6mm 2015 flex top deck for tuning and you should be set.

Thanks for the input Kody, I will be sticking with 17.5 for now. I have the 2.25 chassis and a set of soft arms, I'll have to get that top deck on order then I should be set.

Where can i by parts for this car? Hobby velocity is under going maintanace and shop viper rc is gone.

I run an Orion 4.5T geared at 8.14:1, but anywhere from 7.8 to 8.2 should be in the correct range.
