Default LRP comp question

I acquired a LRP quantum competition and found something wrong with it. When I turn it on (yes everything is hooked up correctly) it beeps in a two beep, one silence, pattern. I got this to stop a few times. the throttle went smooth up to 75% then straight to 100% so I tried to reset it, but could not get the settings to change and the brakes were either full on or full off. has anyone else had this problem/know how, who, how much to fix it? It's quite frusterating and I'd like to fun the speed control. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

It sounds like it might be stuck in the setup mode.
