Default advantages of ESC upgrade,

I am weighing up the possible advantages of upgrading my ESC,

currently run a variety of classes Stock/540 and sometimes mod/19t,

when running stock/540 I am usually in the top 5 of the A's,

my current ESC is a the Novak TC2, the rest of my kit is pretty good (FK05, S9550, JR XS3, high end matched packs, ETC ETC)

is there any significant performance advantages in upgrading from the Novak TC2 to a say for example a Novak GTX? (or any other similar high end ESC)

weight/size difference is not a issue as my car has plenty of space and is underweight anyway,

thanks,

more then likely . better performance and throttle response .. run time and personal program settings to get you dialed in ...as well as newer technology from what your currently running ... I too have a tc 2 . its still good a good speed control .. and I use it in my Bmi Xray ..

I too used to run the TC-2 and the C-2's (they were good)......But Having "fully" adjustable parameters on Drive frequency, brake frequency, drag brake, drag brake frequency..Ect......is the kinda thing that once you have it, and become familar with the changes that they make, you'll really see and feel the advantage of it.....ideal frequencys and settings can make the car easier to drive as well as giving more power and runtime......if you want something as fully adjustable as possible, consider a Keyence rapida or their Zero V extream...........

The TC-2 is a good esc, I doubt you will notice any difference at all.
