Damn I missed the parade laps! I'll be there next week, hopefully you've got her all buttoned up.

Hi Guys,

The rest of the RK10's will ship by tomorrow night.

Just wanted to make sure no one thought they were missed. Just tackling orders as they came in.

Hey John, 4 degrees caster 1.5 camber should be a good starting point. 7 is a ton for the New School. At big races, we usually go down to 2-3 degrees caster and .5 camber. You don't have to crank caster into a New School to get it to steer.

Can't wait to see some vids. Stay off the boards.

Greets Bruce,

Do I understand that at some point in time you plan to offer the RK10 in a full blown kit?

I'm in for another...just say'in.

ESC and motor had a fight over the sensor board. The motor lost. It made a sizzling sound, then let the magic smoke out. The controller was acting odd and wouldn't talk to the programming card or the PC before I ran it. I pulled both motor and ESC out of the car. I put the motor on the checker and its spinning at half the speed and pulling twice the current. Somehow the sensor board checks good. So I hooked the ESC to the card and computer with nothing else attached and was able to communicate. I reflashed it successfully, attached to another motor, synced it to the radio and it is alive. I think I escaped serious damage, but did short the windings in the can. So sad.

Boosted 17.5 for now. The car is balanced fairly well with some pinecar weights. It still needs a caster and camber check.
