Peugeot 905HD
Corally Nissan P35
Mix Nissan
Mix Mercedes C11
Mix Porsche
Or for extreme downforce the Lola bodies.
Tires tarmac: BSR double purple front and purple rear.
You can use those on carpet 2 but watch the front side for gripp rolls.

Hot Bodies Toyota GT1 or Protoform Peugeot 905b medium down force if you can find them (I currently have both)...good luck. You can get the 905b high downforce.

I think McAllister still makes some bodies or you could get a 1/10 nitro GTP body.

For carpet I use BSR Purple(GT Spec) fronts for just about any traction level. For rears, depending on traction, BSR XX Pink for med. traction or BSR Pink for low traction. YMMV.

If you are going to run at Camarillo, check with the locals there on which tires to use
For sure, purple do not work there, or Lilac, or Team purple...

That is a lot of failed tires. Anyone try Xceeds out there on the asphalt yet?

I think they run the softest version of white rear, on 1s 10.5 open
It's a smooth sealed asphalt surface track out there

Anything from the pink family just slides, no grip at all on this surface
Synthetic rear are a must

White and Pink both duro @ 30-35. However Pinks have "Low wear/longer lasting characteristics".

Whites wear FAST and lay down more traction then Pinks. Whites can feel squirmy under power once they warm up because of this. Where as Pinks feel more solid, less side wall give and wear like iron compared to Whites.

I'll assume the Whites work better then Pinks on the smooth sealed asphalt surface he described because of the characteristics listed above.

On carpet when the track is "green", White or Pearl-White/White feel good until the traction comes up then the Pinks feel perfect.

Hope that explanation helps.

Organic Mechanic, everything you ever wanted to know about foam compounds and their designations can be found here. When CRC put this one together, the author did a great job of describing not just the shores, but the wear characteristics based on the chemical makeup of the foam itself.

That was a good read!

Where do Xceeds fit into that? are they European/Italian?
