Default wheels and tires

Hey,
I am building a custom model and need tires. Maybe wheels as well, but will probably make those custom. I am looking for a street tire with a 1.5" ID and a 2" OD, approx. Can work with the width a little.

I would appreciate it if you on road guys can point me toward something close.

Thanks!

The closest thing to those dimensions would be HPI's vintage tires. They are about 1.5 Id on the front side but are 1.9 on the back side. Most tc tires are 1.9 inner diameter. Tamiya mini tires may work for u but I'm not familiar with their dimensions

Maybe some more information would be helpful. Just dimensions are very blank, having no idea what will be asked of the tires.

It will be a presentation model, not RC, based closely on an Audi R8. The model as designed in the computer fits the 2" OD tires pretty well.

I can make the wheels custom to fit the tires, if I can just find a tire close enough that looks correct. I could re-scale the model to fit different tires but would rather not.

Look at wheels and tyres for Minis. The size is usually around 53-55mm diameter for the tyres with a 40-42mm diameter wheel.

if those wheels are too big, front tyres for the Tamiya F103 are 55mm diameter for a 38mm diameter wheel, but they are 30mm wide.

Interesting project. When you finish I bet others would like to see the model like me.
