Default Setup on Tamiya evo III

Hey guys and girls,

New to the game. Anyone got setup tips or links for the tamiya evo III.

depends entirely on what you intend to race, where you intend to race etc

yeah man i intend to race. Want to start out in the 540 class to get the hang of things.

I am just after a general setup guide line, ride height and stuff like that.

help is much appreciated

my setup was ride height approx5mm all round
front shocks as upright as you can get with blue(hard) springs
rear 2nd outmost position, red (soft) springs

both on outermost position on arms

in 540 you want to try and get the shocks upright to make the initial travel harder, to lessen the body roll and weight transfer

1 deg neg camber all round and 2toe in at rear 1 at front

Default Try THIS

Hey mate try this as a basic setup

Front
Stock Springs
0 camber
Stock Caster Block
1deg toe out
5.5mm ride hight

Rear
Stock Springs
1.5Deg Negative Camber(wheel leaning In)
2deg Toe In
6mm Ride Hight

Try Some light Stabilisers(start with soft)
30wt oil all round all holes open in shocks
And Use the standard wheel base settings
