No, that is the actual price. Also remeber that the kit does not include shocks or tires.

yep that is the price and as macky said the kit doesnt
come with shocks,or the stuff to mount the shocks,tires,foam bumper, or any extra parts they give just what it takes to build the kit .

Yea, that looks like a Yokomo MR4TC bumper on Macky's kit, if I'm not mistaken.

Any word on how this car performs at the track? Anybody out here stateside bullish enough to race one?

The car handles very well! one of the easiest cars to set up that i have had . and i have had a few in my time. the Ova cars are true race cars and very well made .

And you are right its a yokomo bumper that fits perfect!
