Dirla wont have any for this weekend as Paul is still in FL with his family on vacation after the paved nats and wont be home till the 8th so he cant ship any before this weekend.

A good batch Jaco or Sweep is pretty close to the same as the Gravity C tires though. I ran both last week and both were really really close.

Excellent, think Steve and I both will end up on Jaco's this weekend as it is! See you Saturday!

Default F1 rules?

Can we agree to run the F1 class by the UF1 rules that are in place, with the tires that they allow?

Myron,
I went to RC Signups and it has my classes properly listed as Sportsman VTA and USGT. Your recent post has me listed as USGT and 1/12. Please advise.

I'm fine with that. What tire rules are they using? I just checked the UF1 site and they are only listing:

Tires: Rubber only, F1 scale. Must be available to the general public

I'm fine with with using the TCS tires as a spec tire if that is the new rule.

UF1 (California) rules are open rubber tire. ANY Pit Shimizu, Tamiya, Ride, Pardus, etc. tire is allowed.

I have a question before I spend any money. My Novak 25.5 is missing the center ring that covers the stator. I bought the car with the motor in it. Do I have to have it and if so does it matter if it is the proper color. I hate to spend a hundred to replace a good motor over this.

A comprehensive list of who has signed up and for which classes and if paid or not would certainly resolve a bunch of questions.

Just sayin'...

If you are allowed to just put a ring on it, I think I may have one or two you can have. The ones I have are older though, so they are purple.

F1 expo class will run UF1 rules as a open rubber tire, most of the racers have a selection to choose from, this will keep you guys from buying extras.

TC 17.5 class will be using the Gravity spec tire for the event. We will have them for sale at the track for $30 a set. You can bring your own for practice. But race tires will be pre-tech and marked for the event. You must run these to pass tech.

As always VTA and GT tires need to tread across the tire, no slick spots. We will be watching this very close this year. And don't forget SPOKE wheels ONLY for GT and must use factory insert. And yes you can tell the difference.

just remember racers, don't cheat, even if you don't get caught...you look pretty pitiful.

Thanks MK
