tire's were killer this past weekend at the regionals. Great wear too. Red/tan fronts and tan rears are the way to go for carpet racing.

That is what is the combo I want to try.
To bad I did not see this post a few days ago. I just ordered a set of Jaco D pink/D pink orange. The bad thing is I hate Jaco tires. They seem to not wear very well for me.

Here is a solution..... order GQ direct thru www.competition-rc.com, sell your Jaco tires!

Just email to the email on the site and place your order through them.

GQ does not use any distributors at this moment, ie Horizon, Great Planes of HRP.

You can click the link below. Just leave an email and you can buy direct. If that doesn't work send me a Pm and I will get you hooked up with a few LHS that stock them. Ray

The wear is pretty good though. All of last weeks testing was with 19 turn. Mo has done the mod testing and it pretty much looks to be the same. Thanks for the info.

Got my Red/Tan & Tan from Joseph to test. On the bench with the durometer, the Tan is softer than Magenta, even from GQ rating, it's a 5 shore different. Usually, a softer tire the car is more stuck for me but you said it rotates better? Did you have to change any setups? Want to know before I venture to a new compound for tomorrow race.

Stlnlst and I both have been running the red/tan and tan tires. I've found that the tires give you more steering all around. If you put the tires on with the setup on your car you have right now you should have ALOT more steering than your use to. I had a problem with oversteer and had to go with a thicker sway-bar up front. So just expect some oversteer.

Don't know how many of you guys noticed but competition-rc.com got a face lift recently, much improved...

The guys out there running the 1/12th scale tires, what sized bearing did you use in the front tires, I tried a 1/8th x 5/16th and had to use a reamer to get a decent fit, anyone else having to do this??? Or should I be using a different sized bearing...
