Red/Tan Dual Compound
Tan C2 Compound
This combination was made to be similar to Cyan/Magenta's or Double Pink/Orange - Double Pink. Originally there was a small test run produced and given to team drivers but now they should be available to everyone.
I'm not sure how many distributors have them in stock so you might have to ask GQ specifically for them.
I ran these tires on carpet and they work well if the traction is low - med. They are softer then the Black/Grey and Greys most people run indoors. When I ran them back to back the Red/Tan and Tans were always a tick faster.

Okay GQ guys,
Any of you guys try the GQ nitro foams on carpet? I'm running a low grip carpet track with TQ Orange as the traction compound. Cyan/Magenta is the combo to run here but wear is high. Any of the GQ nitro foams work?

I have run them on carpet, shore ratings need ( my opinion) about 7-8 points different, harder on front. I use 45ft-37rr or 42ft-35rr and it seems to work for me you may have to tweak the set-up a little. The ware also tends to be better

Should be about two weeks until the new compounds come out. That should also be about the tme the 1/12th scale foams come out as well. Who tested the 1/12th scale foams? Any suggestions on what to order? Nexus, Eric, and I will be running on CRC Fast Trac carpet. Thanks for the help, Ray

Hey guys got to do some more testing of the GQ Carpet Foams myself, but it wasn't actually on carpet. I went to a charity event and we decided to run an open touring class both motors and tires so I took out a set of Red/Magentas and Magentas, put the dual compound on the front and the Magentas on the rear. The car was DIALED all day and wear was fairly good for running a carpet tire on a asphalt surface. Treated the front inner third with paragon and did the entire rear tire. I started the day at 60mm ended the day after 2 practice runs, 3 qualifiers and a main at 57.2mm...not too bad, really....I am not an advocate of foam on asphalt, kind of a purest that way, but I gotta say the traction was amazing with this setup. I didnt touch my car from its rubber tire setup so I could have probably made the car better by stiffening it up some...
On another note for any of your East Coast guys, GQ/Competition-RC is sponsoring a micro event at a local track, all entries will get a free set of Micro foam tires. The event is for all micro-sized cars: 2WD Truck, 4WD Truck, Mini-Monster Truck, Kyosho Mini-Inferno, Micros. They have both a indoor carpet track and a 1/10th indoor dirt track. Show up and support GQ!
