I read here that some uses Tamiya DCJ's on the T4.
I have a TRF418 on my table, guess the front DCJ's are the same as the ones people are recommending in this thread. Is this assumption correct?
Are there any modifications needed or is it a direct fit? Do I need to use the "thin" bearing from 418? Do I need other spool cups? The Smokem ones. Have anyone tried to run he Tamiya DCJ's with the plastic stock Xray spool cup.?
I know I can just try to install them and see for myself, but just want to be sure I'm not missing something.
EDIT: never mind, bought a pair of Xray ECS's from my LHS.

T2-007 HELP !!!!!
I have inherited 2 Xray T2-007's and was looking for others who still have and race them and was wondering about possibly racing them as brushless with Lipo's. I realize that they were originally setup for NiMah's but I have a Castle Creations brushless motor and esc and wondered the car will handle it.

I ran the Xray 2mm Ecs's last year outside in mod and never had an issue. Not sure what people are doing to break them. I hit quite a lot of stuff but they are still going.
