If i can find something that works like a type s but is made from better quality material, great!

I bought one from Alex/gripworksrc at the Kamloops wcics race and ran it for my qualifying runs. It looks to be a combination of the type-s and racer. It had good steering without being darty, and the rear was more planted than the type-s but still had good rotation. The 0.7mm version weighs 83g with stock wing.
Edit: i ran it in touring modified on medium grip crc black carpet.
I switched to a Sweep STC4 with hard wing for the mains mostly just for the sake of testing more bodies.

I ran the altis 2.3e today at a club race on higher traction crc grey carpet in 21.5t touring stock. Our layout hasn't changed in months so there is a good black groove. Tires were sorex 28s with sxt max but switched to sxt regular for the main. I set a new personal best in qualifying and the mains using the Altis. Pretty darned happy with it.
