Default Speed passion gt 2.0 pro help

So big thanks to Ed Clark looks like we have got my mi5 working pretty good now but now my esc is messing up it is a speed passion gt 2.0 pro it only has 5 weekends on it and only in blinky mode with a lrp 13.5 motor it was working perfect till last weekend I ran it for about 10 laps and all of a sudden it lost half its power I checked the motor it wasn't hot so I turned it off and right back on it worked fine for about 5 laps and then did it agin so I changed the bat and then it won't even try to move and it won't let me calibrate it I tried a new transmitter and motor it still won't let me set the ranges anyone have any ideas or is it just a bad esc?
