I just learned about this new on-road class, the GT12, from PROTOform's Facebook page. Does anybody know if any clubs in USA are running this class?

Cool

BRCA do things right

GT12 is mostly seen as a feeder class to proper 12th scale over there

A heat of GT12's at one of my clubs;

One of the drivers was also running 10.5 blinky LMP12 (1/12 scale) in another final
His laps are around 1.5s slower with the GT12.

At the BRCA national, the LMP12 10.5 A final;

So it seems like it would take more than buying longer body mounts for your standard 12th scale to make this body work. I guess you will have to make some changes to the rear axle and hubs to be able to use the small more narrow wheels.

I have mine on an X12 as well and I agree, a bigger tire would fill in much better. I think that the next one I paint, I will use a razor compass to cut out the proper tire size and not use the lines molded into the body. Ill take a better shot of the side to show the wheel gap.
