Default TIMEZONE GRAND PRIX JULY 17-20

Please come join us at the beautiful Timezone Raceway Park, located in Battle Ground Washington, 20 minutes north of Portland, OR. If you love racing in a park like setting with a European inspired, grass infield track, Come on up!

Our Electric classes this year are Mod Sedan, 17.5 Blinky Sedan and our version of 21.5 Scale Spec/VTA. The Sedan Spec tire will be the new Sweep EXP36 EVO-R, same as used at Reedy. The Scale Spec/VTA class must use HPI D compound tires, 26 or 31mm widths.

Race fees are $60 first class and $40 remaining classes. Your fee includes a race Tshirt, if signed up by July 1st, and the Always Famous St. Cyr Tri-tip BBQ Saturday night! Signup @ www.tzgrandprix.com

RD of this years race will be Mr. Beads himself, Charlie Suangka!

EVERYONE should try and make this. It's not very often you find a grass infield track in the US .

What track configuration do you use? The pics on the website show both a high speed configuration and one lower speed with a bunch of additional turns added.

The high speed track. I know it doesn't look super technical, but not having any boards to keep you on the track keeps you honest

Any club races at this track before the GP? Never ran asphalt before so I would love a day to get used to it.
