I have this unit. It's an excellent discharger, and very easy to use. And it NEVER false peaks.

However, it tends to charge NiMh's a little too much, meaning they easily get too warm - that is above 50 deg C. Especially if your environment temperatures goes over 24-25 degrees celsius. In this case, you'll need a fan on the batts.

I'm using it at 20 deg C room temp, and sometimes below - then it's an excellent unit.

Default Novak

Serzly, if hes on a budget you guys are recommending $190US to $400US worth of charger, nothin wrong with that considering they are the best.

Heres What I Reccoment... Get yourself a Millenium Pro from Novak..these are awesome chargers...you can pick one up with a descent PSU dirt cheap and if your gunna run GP batts you could get an Indi Zero-V if intellects youll need something with a 5.4V cutoff... and you will still have change for other stuff you should need to buy
