Default Indoor track

I am going to setup an indoor track in my basement for the winter months here in New England. I plan on laying down carpet in an open 22x13 foot room.

I need to purchase something (either a 12th or 18th scale) to run on it as I currently race 8th scale as well as stock sedan. Do you think I can setup a layout large enough for a 12th scale, or must I run a 18th scale?

Thanks for your insight.

With those dimensions, you're looking at a micro/mini track. Sounds like fun though!

Where do you live in New England? Anywhere near RC Excitement in Fitchburg, MASS?
