for just speed you will want a lower gear ratio.

Your Deltawing looks really cool and i hope it will work the way it is supposed to, but I am quite skeptical, because the original deltawing produces about 90% of its downforce with it's underfloor.

Remember to have most of the weight in the back, just enough in the front to not pick the tires off the ground. That's how the deltawing works. That said I don't think it'll scale down well, but it'll be very cool!
