looking for a starting point for an orca vx esc and trinity d3.5 13.5 blinky on a 50x30 asphalt technical and flowing track.

Gear around a 3.9 timing 2 mm past last timing mark

That timing setting would be on the ORCA motors. ON the D3.5 just turn it up to 25 which is about maxed out. It would be about 55* timing.
