Default TRF416

www.tq-racing.com mentioned David Spashett had TRF416. Can anyone confirm this?

First I have heard of it. I can't see Tamiya releasing a prototype so soon after the release of the 415MSX.

There was an interview, that he was running the TRF 415MSX at that race meeting.

I would say 416 is still at least 6-12 months away

I think Spashett drove "the core TRF416". It means: 416 lower deck (with narrow and lower steering post) and other parts. I suppose that Spashett's car is the new version of the kit tested by David for Shizuoka

Why do I think it? Because the MSX kit doesn't include the lower deck http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=49378

MSX don't have a different lower deck to the MS. The steering is in the same position and with the same posts on the MSX, they just flipped the steering upside down to lower it. There is no such thing as a TRF 416 for the moment, they might be working on something but no top driver will be using a different car from the 415 untill the 416 is officially anounced.
